Equal Opportunity Office
The University of West Florida is firmly committed to equal opportunity and to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws that prohibit discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Our Mission
Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation are prohibited by the university's Prohibition of Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation policy. The mission of the Equal Opportunity Office is to provide members of the university community (i.e., students, faculty, staff, and applicants for employment) with resources and processes to enable the filing of complaints related to this policy.
About Equal Opportunity
The University of West Florida is committed to ensuring that each member of the University community is permitted to work and learn in an environment which is free from discrimination and harassment based on protected classes. Protected classes are generally described as groups of people who have historically faced discrimination and harassment. At UWF, protected classes include: age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, race, religion and veteran status.
- Age
- Color
- Disability
- Gender

Faculty, staff and students are strongly encouraged to report allegations of discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation. Delaying the immediate reporting of an allegation often hinders a proper investigation and can also unnecessarily subject a potential Complainant to continued discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation.
If you have a good-faith belief that you have experienced discrimination, harassment or retaliation on the basis of one or more protected class, you may contact the Equal Opportunity Office at eop@skylineconsultants.net or the Equal Opportunity Officer, Andrew Tokajer, at atokajer@skylineconsultants.net.
